Analyst, HR Operations & Data Analytics – London

Our client is a leading investment banking business with a strong presence across EMEA and Asia. Known for its high-performance culture and dynamic working environment, the firm is continuing to invest in its HR infrastructure to support global growth.
This Analyst role sits within the HR Operations & Data Analytics team and plays a critical part in delivering seamless employee lifecycle processes. The successful candidate will take ownership of onboarding and offboarding processes, while acting as a subject matter expert for Workday and driving data accuracy across HR systems. This is a visible role with direct impact on operational efficiency and employee experience in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes across EMEA and Asia, ensuring timely completion of documentation, approvals, and system updates
- Coordinate new joiner processes, including preparation of contracts and documentation while liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure operational readiness
- Act as the SME for Workday, maintaining system integrity, troubleshooting issues, and supporting ongoing optimisation of HRIS functionality
- Maintain and audit employee records across HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness at all times
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to improve operational processes and enhance employee lifecycle management
- Support HR data analytics initiatives, providing insights and reporting to inform decision-making
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within HR Operations and Data Analytics, ideally within financial services or a similar high-performance environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday, with the ability to manage data structures and resolve system-related queries
- Proven track record managing high-volume, detail-oriented HR processes across multiple regions
- Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in HR systems and data-driven decision-making
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, demanding environment with high standards of delivery
Location: London (full-time office-based)
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000
