About the Company

Our client is a respected boutique remuneration advisory firm with a strong reputation for technical excellence and analytical rigour. The business partners with listed, private, and private‑equity‑backed organisations, providing guidance on remuneration structures for executives, Boards, and senior leadership teams.

As the team continues to grow, they are seeking an Associate to support the delivery of high‑quality benchmarking, valuation, and analytical work. This role is central to how the firm advises clients on pay structures, market positioning, and governance expectations. You will play a key role in producing accurate, insight‑driven analysis and contributing to client‑ready materials.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious early‑career professional seeking structured development, exposure to senior stakeholders, and a clear progression pathway in the executive compensation space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and reliable benchmarking for Executive Directors, Non‑Executive Directors, and senior leadership roles.
  • Select or recommend appropriate comparator groups and confidently capture, sense‑check, and analyse market and client data.
  • Use proprietary Excel templates and databases, developing fluency in remuneration structures and valuation methodologies.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and client‑ready presentation materials, including PowerPoint outputs summarising findings and recommendations.
  • Support the wider team on complex projects, including overseas benchmarking and AIM‑listed company analyses.
  • As experience grows, contribute to training junior colleagues and reviewing the work of others.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work confidently in Excel.
  • Ideally experience in executive compensation, reward, consulting, data analysis, financial services, or a related numerate field.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly and professionally.
  • A proactive, structured, and organised working style; able to follow instructions closely in early stages and develop independence over time.
  • Comfortable working with confidential information and producing error‑free deliverables under deadlines.
  • Intellectual curiosity and an interest in executive remuneration, governance, and market trends.
