Chief People Officer

This a first time HR hire working for a growing fintech platform which connects alternative investment houses to wealth managers. The business is currently operating in multiple international locations and is now seeking a progressive HR leader to continue their impressive scale-up.

You will be responsible for the following: 

  • Overseeing all recruitment into the firm. You will help to create a hiring process that helps to attract the best talent in the market
  • Building an employer value proposition and promote externally as an employer of choice.
  • Develop a strategy to engage with and attract early years talent
  •  Oversee and implement a robust onboarding process, ensuring new joiners are set up for success.
Talent Management:
  • Implement a career development framework for all levels within the firm.
  • Ensure that development initiatives are in place that encourages career development and succession planning.
  • Work with business leaders to ensure clear succession planning of critical positions.
Performance, Coaching & Appraisal:
  • Work with managers to improve the performance of individuals and teams, ensuring optimal performance is reached.
  • Build upon the existing performance review framework, developing a systematic, clear structure.

Culture & Engagement:
  • Work with the senior leadership team to define the culture and values of the firm.
  • Embed values into the hiring process, performance management cycle and career development framework.
Other responsibilities:
  • Ensure the firm has an up-to-date HR policy and oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage any 3rd party or external supplier relationships

Desired Experience

Prior experience in a larger financial services institution , with a clear sense of best practice relating to people and talent practices. Prior experience working within a scale up is preferred but not essential. . High levels of IQ and EQ with the ability to implement a strategy and work with SLT to be an active adviser . Commercial and entrepreneurial approach.
