As the new Head of HR, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO and managing a small HR team. Global coverage across the UK (HQ), Canada (Toronto & Vancouver), USA (San Francisco, New York, Boston).
This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who is charismatic, visionary and thrives in fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environments. You will drive people strategy, champion family culture, talent development, and organisational design while fostering engagement across multi-generational, multicultural teams.
The task ahead will be not only to build a resilient workforce, but also to retain them. You will own and drive employee engagement, job satisfaction and staff retention, and this will define business success as HR plays a key role in developing positive company culture and improving employee productivity. The HR function also takes the lead on employee wellness, personal development and professional growth.

Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing a modern, scalable HR strategy aligned to business growth and global footprint
- Leading and mentoring the existing HR team, providing guidance across recruitment, development, and compliance.
- Partnering with leadership to drive talent and organisational development initiatives.
- Overseeing employer branding, retention strategy, rewards strategy, and engagement campaigns tailored to a high-performing consulting environment.
- Championing excellence, diversity, equity, and inclusion across all locations.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on all people-related matters.
Experience
- Proven success managing HR functions across international offices, especially in the UK, US, and Canada.
- Demonstrated ability to scale HR practices for growing businesses in dynamic, people-driven sectors, with a strong preference for experience within global management consulting firms.
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Psychology or related field (required).
-MBA qualification or a MSc in HR (highly regarded).
- You should possess a strategic yet pragmatic leadership style, have a deep understanding of Gen Z and Millennial workforce expectations, be skilled in culture-building, inclusion, and performance enablement and bring strong gravitas, presence, and communication skills with a passion for people-first organisations.
-Finally, in addition to full-spectrum HR leadership, you will be adept at hybrid working models, data-driven people analytics, resource management, work-life balance and progressive HR technologies; with a strong understanding of cross-border employment regulations.
