Our client, a leading global investment and asset management firm, is seeking an experienced Reward Specialist to join its London office. This newly created opportunity sits at the heart of the organisation’s compensation strategy, working closely with senior management.
As the firm continues to scale, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping a modern and globally aligned reward philosophy. The successful hire will act as the subject matter expert for complex incentive arrangements, ensuring they remain market‑competitive, compliant, and closely aligned to commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and evolve the firm’s reward philosophy to support business growth and long‑term talent strategy.
• Design complex incentive structures, applying strong legal and tax understanding to carried interest, co‑investment and long‑term incentive plans.
• Manage all carried interest and phantom carry arrangements, including rules, documentation, communications, approvals and governance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to design and implement new long‑term incentive programmes.
• Provide expert guidance into annual remuneration cycles, hiring processes, restructures and corporate transactions.
• Conduct market benchmarking, peer analysis, and compensation modelling to support data‑driven reward decisions.
• Support offer development and act as the primary point of contact for employee and business queries relating to reward programmes.
• Maintain accurate tracking of all carry allocations, distributions and participant changes within HR systems.
• Prepare materials and analysis for Remuneration Committee meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing technology and communication enhancements across incentive plans.
Candidate Profile
• Significant experience in reward, ideally gained within financial services, asset management, private equity or a similarly complex, regulated environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of carried interest, long‑term incentives, tax considerations and cross‑border reward arrangements.
• Proven ability to manage governance, documentation, and regulatory requirements for incentive plans.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret data, model scenarios, and provide clear strategic recommendations.
• Confident stakeholder manager able to work with senior leaders across multiple regions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Highly organised, detail‑driven and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
