Overview
Our client, a globally recognised organisation with a complex, international footprint, is seeking an Interim Reward Specialist (Senior Analyst) to join its London-based People function on a daily rate contract. This is a high-impact role supporting the Head of Reward during a period of transformation and regulatory change.
The position offers exposure to a broad range of reward activities, from annual compensation cycles to strategic projects such as job architecture, pay transparency, and global grading frameworks. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the business, combining technical expertise with commercial insight to shape and deliver effective reward solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of annual salary and bonus review processes, including modelling, analysis, and executive reporting.
- Lead and contribute to reward-related projects, including job evaluation frameworks, grading structures, and compensation benchmarking.
- Provide expert guidance to HR and business stakeholders on pay, benefits, and reward policy, ensuring alignment with internal frameworks and external market practice.
- Assist with the implementation of regulatory initiatives, including pay transparency requirements, and support associated communication and training activities.
- Manage participation in external salary surveys, analysing market positioning and recommending adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners on performance-related reward matters, including off-cycle reviews and incentive design.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a reward or compensation role within a large, international organisation.
- Strong analytical capability, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
- Experience with job evaluation methodologies and grading frameworks; familiarity with leading tools and approaches is advantageous.
- Understanding of pay transparency regulations and evolving reward governance frameworks is preferred.
- Confident stakeholder manager with a consultative approach and the ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Degree in a relevant discipline; professional HR or reward qualifications (e.g. CIPD) are beneficial.
