We are partnering with a progressive, regulated investment management firm to appoint an interim Senior People Partner.
This is a senior-level mandate partnering directly with Executive Team members to shape and deliver a forward-looking people agenda that supports sustained growth within a complex, regulated environment.
The role requires both strategic influence and operational depth. You will operate at Executive level to align people strategy with commercial objectives, while remaining close to the detail to ensure effective, compliant and high-quality delivery.
The Opportunity
As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will:
Partner with Executive Team members to translate business strategy into impactful people plans.
Lead workforce planning, succession and capability strategies to ensure the organisation attracts and retains high-performing talent.
Deliver and evolve core people processes including performance management, compensation review and talent planning.
Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to align hiring strategy with business growth plans.
Lead engagement survey cycles and drive meaningful action planning with senior stakeholders.
Work alongside Reward leadership to ensure pay philosophy remains competitive and aligned to business strategy.
Identify organisational development and learning priorities to strengthen leadership capability.
Leverage people analytics to inform decision-making and measure impact.
Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations matters, balancing commercial pragmatism with regulatory compliance.
Support organisational change initiatives, including transformation activity and M&A from a people perspective.
Coach and develop direct reports, building capability and succession readiness within the People function.
Balance strategic leadership with hands-on HR delivery, flexing as business priorities demand.
About You
You bring significant experience partnering with Executive and senior leadership teams within a regulated financial services environment.
You are confident operating within SMCR frameworks and understand the governance, reporting and accountability expectations of a regulated setting.
You combine strong employment law knowledge with commercial judgement, and you are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments with credibility and influence.
You have led both strategic people initiatives and operational HR delivery, and you bring a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.
You are collaborative, low ego and comfortable challenging constructively. You thrive in environments where pace and performance matter.
Key Requirements
Extensive senior HR partnering experience within a regulated financial services environment.
Strong familiarity with SMCR frameworks, processes and reporting requirements.
Deep grounding in employment law and complex employee relations.
Experience evolving core people processes (performance, compensation, talent, succession).
Proven ability to coach and mentor others.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

£120,000 base salary
Initial 7-month contract
Immediate start required
Hybrid working model – 3 days per week office-based
