Our client is a leading global organisation, recognised for its international reach and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a Head of Benefits in Manchester to define and deliver a forward-thinking global benefits strategy that supports a diverse and evolving workforce.
This is a high-impact leadership role, combining strategic oversight with operational execution. The successful candidate will shape the organisation’s global benefits offering, ensuring it remains competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. Working closely with senior stakeholders and international teams, you will influence employee experience, strengthen governance frameworks, and drive innovation across all benefits programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global benefits strategy informed by market trends, regulatory developments, and workforce expectations.
- Lead and develop a small specialist team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across regions.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery and governance of benefits programmes, ensuring robust processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with global vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery and value for money.
- Lead annual benefits cycles, including enrolment, renewals, and compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Utilise data and analytics to assess programme effectiveness, drive insight-led decision making, and demonstrate return on investment.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in global or multi-regional benefits leadership within a complex corporate or professional services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of benefits design, governance, and compliance, including international regulatory considerations.
- Proven leadership capability, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels across geographies.
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience using data to inform strategy and improve outcomes.
- Familiarity with benefits platforms and HR systems, alongside advanced proficiency in Excel and presentation tools.
